How much is my case worth? The value of your case is determined by several factors including the injuries you suffer, the amount of your medical bills, the amount of time spent recovering, out of pocket expenses due to the accident, and lost wages. While there are no set dollar amounts for injuries, these are some of the primary factors in determining how much a case is worth. At Stapleton Law we have a team of
attorneys
that know how present these in the best way to push the insurance companies into paying more.
How long will my case take?
At Stapleton Law we pride ourselves on moving cases quickly. Generally, a case is ready to attempt to settle once treatment is completed. After someone completes treatment all the bills and records are requested from the medical providers by our office immediately. Once received our team of attorneys begins to create a settlement demand package of everything involved in the case to present to the insurance company. Typically, once the insurance company completes their review of the settlement demand package the settlement negotiations begin.
Where does the money come from?
Practically always insurance companies. In auto accidents there are often multiple insurance companies involved. The attorneys at Stapleton Law often are able to collect from multiple insurance companies in a single accident. Insurance companies are experts at hiding and they certainly won’t voluntarily let you know about extra coverage that applies. There are also things you can do which forfeit your right to additional insurance coverages that would have applied. The attorneys at Stapleton Law are experts at navigating the muddy waters of insurance.
Do I have to go to court?
Probably not. At Stapleton Law we settle about 96% of our auto accident claims without having to file a lawsuit. We accomplish this with our experience, hard work, and by aggressively pursuing all the claims we handle. But, at the end of the day our client is in charge. If they do not feel the insurance company settlement offer is fair we are fully prepared to litigate cases through a jury trial and have significant experience doing so.
